About My Work

I’m an Animal Welfare Officer (better known as an Animal Control Officer/ACO). I respond to calls from citizens regarding loose dogs, injured animals, animal abuse/cruelty, aggressive animals, and instances where animal-related ordinances need to be enforced.

Call came in for a loose cow. We had been out a few times fo this one but this is the first time we actually found her. She was very feisty but fair enough after how long I was chasing her. #animalwelfare #animalrescue #cow

Call came in for a dog hit by a car on the highway. I didn’t realize at first but his leg was pretty messed up. Unfortunately due to behavior and pretty severe injuries this guy had to be put down (but he fought sedatives insanely hard on the way out). #animalwelfare #animalcontrol #animalrescue #dog
